Future directions for Ministry Grounds
Like many things in life, my coffee hobby has grown and morphed over the years.
Mostly, that’s been positive. I’ve grown in my understanding and appreciation of fine coffee. I’ve improved my cupping and roasting skills. And I’ve realised how much more I have to learn and understand!
Right from the start I’ve enjoyed sharing with others, both the fruits of my roasting, but also sharing the bounty that the relationship with my wholesaler has bought with other home roasters.
But along the way, some things have become more complicated than I would like, and so it’s time to pause and rethink how my coffee obsession hobby should continue – and if you are a home roaster, I would like your input…
Un-common grounds
I’ve only had one person confuse Ministry Grounds with Common Grounds, but that is one person too many.
So I wanted to be very clear:
New Ministry Grounds Store
As the risk of a little self-promotion…
We have a brand new Ministry Ground Store
New Ministry Grounds Design
Well, this is the new Ministry Grounds design – hope you like it…
Beans come and beans go
If you have visited the Ministry Grounds store recently, you will have seen that a few beans have run out (ie: they are missing from the store), and haven’t been replaced…
Ministry Grounds Online Store
To cope with the increasing numbers of sales of roasted and green coffee through this site, I’ve set up a simple shopping cart.
As yet, I don’t take online payments. but the system will send you a confirmation email, and I’ll follow that up with an invoice by another email, with details for direct deposit, or payment by cheque, money order or cash.
If you require a quantity of beans not offered in the shopping system, please contact me direct for a quote.
I hope you find the shopping system helpful – but don’t hesitate to ask for assistance should you need it.

Small admin change
What’s in a name? In this case a simple change to add an ’.au’ to the end of this domain.

Ministry Grounds is a blog for reflecting on my experience of roasting and drinking speciality coffee.
There's also some basic information here for people looking to start their journey into fine coffee.
