Vanuatu Sunset update
It’s been over six months now since I launched the ‘Vanuatu Sunset’ blend to support my son Joel in a year of mission work with Uni students in Vanuatu.
Joel is having a great time in Vanuatu, and is clearly contributing significantly to gospel work at the Uni. He’s also being stretched in a number of areas, doing things that he never thought he would!
You can catch up with his progress on his vblog
I didn’t know what to expect in terms of demand. I think the blend works nicely as a gentle, fairly mild blend that works well in brewed situations and as espresso. But I’m delighted to say that the total raised in support of Joel is $582 to date.
So a big thank you to all of you who have bought VS as either roasted or pre-blended green – I hope you’ve enjoyed it, and got a kick out of supporting gospel ministry in the South Pacific.
