Behmor Roaster - now taking pre-orders
In case you missed the word via the store, I’m finally able to take pre-orders for the Behmor 1600 Coffee Roaster.
It’s been an interesting experience going through the approval process and working out shipping from the UK, etc, etc. But I’m really pleased to be able to support a roaster that works so well, and work with it’s creator – Joe Behm – is so committed to detail and quality.
Anyhow, more details are available on the store site…

Brilliant work Neil! This is very exciting news for the home roasters. I have been roasting at home since 1996 and have longed for the day when more consistent control and a larger batch size are possible. Better yet, the price is very, very reasonable. These things will pay for themselves within the first 12 months for the average household. Thank you Neil!

Neil · Oct 18, 08:17 PMIt’s a genuine delight to work with a man like Joe Behm, and to have confidence in not only the product, but in the backing it has and the commitment to supporting it.
I’m looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the roaster and it’s creator.
I’m starting work on a FAQ and perhaps a user guide for the 240v version, and some initial entries will be up and accessible when the roasters arrive.
Cheers
I too am very grateful for all your hard work. I remember seeing this roaster on the net when only the 110v model was available in the US, thinking why not a 240v? I guess all good things come to those who wait.
