A 'rainforest' blend
Way too much going on in our lives at the moment – hence the lack of blogging here. But just wanted to float my latest blending experiment: a Rainforest Alliance blend.
Regulars here will know I support RFA quite strongly, as I find that generally, their coffees are of a high standard and I am convinced their work is genuinely helping many, many coffee farmers and their communities.
So I started to play around with a blend of RFA beans – not a new idea, I know.
It’s a bit of a challenge, because most of the RFA coffees come from Central or South America, which kind of limits the choice and variety of beans.
But I have the first batch resting up after roasting earlier this week and we will see how it turns out.
Anyone reading this have any experience with such a blend?
